After tracing an important courier of Osama into a walled compound in the city wall Abottabad, Pakistan, the CIA agents wanted to determine whether the terrorist network Al Qaeda leader lived in the complex before they attacked him. So, they then put together a complicated ruse to recruit a senior doctor with the Pakistan government to offer hepatitis B vaccination programs for local communities. A nurse who works for the program was later allowed into the complex where Osama lived to give vaccinations to children over there.
